EAZ-FIX PRO Editor's Review

EAZFIX PRO allows you to protect your computer against crashes and data damage by saving snapshots of your hard drive(s) (on a schedule or manually) and restoring these backups whenever needed. The snapshots are actually images of your entire partition stored securely as backups. In case your system will be damaged, the program will restore your system using the data stored in the snapshot. Besides the system backup facilities, the program also allows you to recover files or update the baseline, which is nothing more than an up-to-date snapshot, similar to an incremental backup. The snapshots can be taken according to a schedule, manually or at every system startup. The program provides, among other options, a snapshot management tool, which allows you to defragment the snapshots, lock, unlock, delete or view the content as a virtual drive. The program will run in the system tray and it goes easily on your resources.

Pluses: You can create password protected Administrator and user accounts and configure them with full or restrictive rights such as: deleting logs, recovery of files, changing passwords, change program settings, etc.

Drawbacks / flaws: in case of creating baseline updates, the system will need to be restarted.

In conclusion: A very good, easy to learn and use, stable and fully featured program.
